!!!STOP POISIONING THE CHILDREN!!!

EVERYTIME YOU USE NAME BRAND PERSONAL CARE PRODUCTS, CLEANING PRODUCTS, AND COSMETICS YOU ARE POISONING YOURSELF AND THE WATER WE ALL DRINK!

THERE IS NO GOVERNMENTAL AGENCY THAT CONTROLS OR REGULATES WHAT INGREDIENTS ARE PUT INTO PRODUCTS DESIGNATED FOR PERSONAL, FAMILY, OR HOUSEHOLD CONSUMPTION !!

Also, the same companies that manufacture these products are not required to list the ingredients they use on the label. Therefore...

YOU CAN'T TRUST WARNING LABELS !

The National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) analyzed 2983 chemicals used in personal care products.

The results were as follows:

  • 884 of the chemicals were toxic
  • 314 caused biological mutation
  • 218 caused reproductive complications
  • 778 caused acute toxicity
  • 148 caused tumors
  • 376 caused skin and eye irritations

You don't have to drink it for it to kill you! Many of these chemicals will cause permanent damage when you breathe in the vapors or get them on your skin!

Did You Know?

There are 70,000 more toxins that we are exposed to today then there were prior to WWII.

During the second world war a lot of research was done on chemical warfare and the result was scientists created 70,000 chemicals that were designed to attack the central nervous system and are very deadly and very dangerous. However some of these chemicals work very well as cleaning agents.

In the 1950's, the pharmaceutical companies petitioned the government to give them a little bit of leeway. By this time we had established the EPA to protect us from toxic, irritating, sensitizing, corrosive, hazardous chemicals in our environment. The pharmaceutical companies are so powerful that they were able to have legislation passed that actually amended the federal code of regulation (section 1910.1200C) which allowed them to begin to use hazardous chemicals in products that were designed for use by people, families and households. And not only were they allowed to use these ingredients, but also they were exempted from including these ingredients on the labels. That's why you no longer see a skull and crossbones on the label. And that part of the law that was amended is found in the federal code (section 1500.82) which deals with exemptions from labeling and other requirements. So the pharmaceutical companies did 2 things in the late 50's.

They had legislation passed which removed the definition "hazardous" from hazardous chemicals provided they were used for personal, family, or household consumption and, Each time they used the "hazardous" chemicals it is always less than 6% of the total amount in the product. 6% of the kinds of chemicals we are talking about would be DEADLY !!

The result is that we have a number of diseases and chronic problems today that people did not suffer from prior to 1950.

Let's say you start your day with a shower and you wash with a bar of soap (or a scented shower gel), brush your teeth with toothpaste and shampoo your hair.

In the bar soap and shower gel you will find parabins, propolene-glycol, quiternium-15, and butelated hydroxy tulene (BHT). Parabins will cause contact dermatitis. Propolene-glycol is a carcinogen, it will cause cancer. Not in 5 years, but quite possibly in 10 to 15 years. It also causes dermatitis. Quiternium-15 is formaldehyde, it is a carcinogen and causes dermatitis. BHT is also a cancer causing agent. So in that one product alone there are three cancer causing agents and three agents that cause dermatitis.

Now you brush your teeth with toothpaste and you find that it contains carcinogens and phenol (also known as Carbolic Acid). Another ingredient that is non beneficial in toothpaste is the coloring, F,D&C 1 which is a carcinogen. If you ever noticed on the warning label on the package of the toothpaste it says this, "keep out of reach of children under 6. If you accidentally swallow more than a pea sized amount, call your poison control center immediately." Now that label is on the box, it is not actually on the tube because they know most of us are going to throw the box away when we get home. The warning label is on the toothpaste because it is the closest thing that we use externally that could be considered a food. Normally if it were not put into the mouth, they would not have to put the warning on.

Now let's talk about shampoo (even baby shampoo !). As you are scrubbing in the lather from the shampoo, you are also scrubbing in formaldehyde. Formaldehyde is a cancer causing agent, it will also cause dermatitis or skin problems, it is a neurotoxin which will cause neurological problems, it's a sensitizer which will cause allergies, it¹s poisonous, it will irritate your eyes, skin, and mucous membranes. Many shampoos also contains F,D&C red 40 which is a cancer causing agent.

So simply by washing your hair and body and brushing your teeth you have exposed yourself to 10 neurotoxic and cancer causing chemicals. Chemicals that were created to be used as weapons.

After your shower, you dress yourself with clothing washed in any store-bought laundry detergent. These products contain detergent, sodium silicate, sodium sulfate, trisodiumnitrilotriacetate  (NTA), and washing soda. Detergents cause temporary respiratory tract irritation, and the symptoms include stinging, swelling and redness. NTA¹s are very dangerous. So dangerous that they were banned by the EPA in the early 70's.  But the lobbying power of the pharmaceutical companies is so strong, that decision has been reversed. Washing soda is caustic. It can actually burn your eyes and cause injury upon prolonged contact. Then, consider when you wash your clothes in these caustic ingredients, according to the studies done at MIT, it takes 16 rinse cycles to get rid of all the chemicals. This same study found that after a normal wash cycle, 60% of the ingredients are still in the cloth. Every time you wear clothing that has been washed with store bought laundry detergent, it is like you are wearing a full-body, transdermal patch that allows these chemicals to be absorbed by your skin. If you wash your sheets and pillowcases in this same detergent, you are wearing that patch 24/7!  Now if you wear white clothing and you wanted it whiter and brighter and you used bleach or sodium hypochlorite, you have added another ingredient. Sodium hypochlorite is corrosive, it will cause allergies, it is a sensitizer, and if ingested, it is fatal. Sodium hypochlorite also causes respiratory problems, eye and skin irritation, and it's especially hazardous to people with heart conditions and asthma.

Now we're having breakfast with dishes, cups, glasses and silverware that we washed with dish detergent.  Automatic dishwashing soaps contain sodium hypochlorite again, the same ingredient we found in bleach. They also contain sodium silicate which causes burns to the eyes and tissue damage to the skin, as well as burns to your mouth, throat, and stomach if swallowed. Another serious problem with retail brand dishwashing detergent is automatic dishwashers release steam while they are "cleaning" the dishes. This steam contains sodium hypochlorite and sodium silicate in a very invasive form that can be readily absorbed by your body, especially your lungs.

Window cleaners, bathroom cleaners and counter and floor cleaners all contain butyl-selosol, which is a neurotoxin and will damage your body's blood and the ability of your body to make blood. Butyl-selosol damages your central nervous system, your kidneys and your liver, and is readily absorbed through your skin.

The one product to really avoid is Lysol disinfectant spray. Lysol disinfectant contains dioxin and phenol. Dioxin is a carcinogen, and it is not just a carcinogen. Dioxin is to bacteria what the atomic bomb is to people.  Dioxin is 500,000 times more deadly than DDT. Dioxin when mixed with phenol was used during the Vietnamese war and was called agent orange. In clinical studies, both dioxin and phenol were shown to cause cancer 100% of the time.  Lysol also contains ethyl alcohol and parabins. Ethyl alcohol is an eye, skin, and respiratory tract irritant and parabins will cause allergies.

Aspartame (or NutraSweet) is a sweetening agent used to replace sugar in dietary foods. Especially diet carbonated beverages. If you are using Aspartame as a sugar replacement for any reason (as part of your diet or for diabetic concerns) PLEASE STOP !!!

There are 92 symptoms of Aspartame poisoning !! And the long term health problems associated with Aspartame ingestion are devastating !! If you or anyone you love currently drinks diet soda (or uses any product that contains Aspartame), please pass this news to them: http://www.dorway.com/badnews.html

Many cosmetic and skincare products contain phthalates.  Phthalates are a family of chemicals used primarily as plasticizers that are added to vinyl to make it soft and flexible. But phthalates also give cosmetic products a moist texture that allows them to stick to your skin for long periods of time.  Phthalates are very dangerous to humans and should not come into contact with your skin.

According to Dr. Philip Landrigan, professor of pediatrics at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. "Americans are clearly being exposed to an array of toxic chemicals, many of which can and should be avoided."

Why Should We Worry About Toxic Chemicals?

  • According to the EPA, most homes contain airborne concentrations of hazardous chemicals two to five times higher indoors than outdoors.
  • According to the EPA, toxic chemicals found in the average home are three times more likely to cause cancer than outdoor airborne pollutants.
  • The Consumer product Safety Commission connects 150 chemicals commonly found in our homes to ailments and conditions such as allergies, birth defects, cancer and psychological disorders.
  • A 15 year study found that women who worked at home had a 54% higher death rate from cancer than women who had jobs outside the home. Due to chemical exposure.
  • In 1902, 1 in every 8,000 people developed cancer. Today that stat is 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women. (and this is not due to us getting older either. Today, after accidents, cancer is the leading killer of children!)

Every time we use retail brand cleaners (especially laundry soap) cosmetics, and personal care products, we are adding these toxic chemicals to our drinking water. (Also to all of our rivers, lakes, and streams !)

AND WE WANT THE POISONING OF
OUR CHILDREN TO STOP !

We are part of a group of families across many parts of the world,  who are concerned about the wellness of our children, our families, and the environment are taking action. We have found an answer to this horrifying problem, but we need your help!
